Kitchen Team Member / Grill Cook

Job Type: Part-Time / Full-Time, Year-Round
Pay: $17.60–$19.00 per hour

Weekend Availability Is Mandatory

Applicants must be available to work weekends, including Saturdays and Sundays as scheduled. Flexible weekday availability and the ability to work opening and/or closing shifts are also required.

We are looking for reliable and hardworking team members who can thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding restaurant environment. The ideal candidate is friendly, professional, punctual and able to remain calm during busy periods.

Responsibilities:

• Grill burgers and other menu items according to company standards
• Cut, prepare and cook potatoes
• Prepare and properly store food products
• Receive, lift and organize food and supply deliveries
• Maintain sufficient stock for the current and upcoming shifts
• Clean grills, kitchen equipment, counters and work areas
• Wash dishes and other kitchen tools
• Sweep and mop floors
• Complete opening and closing duties
• Assist with food dressing, order preparation or cashier duties when needed
• Follow all food safety, sanitation and workplace safety procedures

Requirements: 

• Must be available to work weekends
• Must be able to work opening and/or closing shifts
• Able to stand for extended periods in a busy kitchen environment
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Reliable, punctual and responsible
• Able to multitask and work efficiently as part of a team
• Friendly, polite and professional attitude
• Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is an asset, but not required—training will be provided

Schedule:

• Weekday and weekend shifts
• Day and evening shifts
• Opening and closing shifts
• Approximately 4–8 hours per shift
