At KLP, our Managers In Training are on their way! They have proven themselves as successful retail associates and have decided to take the next step into store leadership. The MT works with the Assistant Manager and Store Manager to drive business success. They motivate the store team and provide a model of customer service excellence while gaining the knowledge and skills required to effectively supervise the store. We have an opening for a Part Time Manager In Training at our Vaughan Mills Mall location.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- One + year(s) successful retail experience and High School diploma (Post-Secondary education encouraged, retail management degree a plus).
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, promoting effective sales, and customer relations.
- Ability to coordinate activities of others.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- One year specialty apparel retail management experience required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Meet personal sales goals and motivate others to drive store sales performance.
- Provide exemplary customer service and ensure that others follow suit.
- Maximize profitability through excellent customer service.
- Promote a positive customer experience by keeping all customer areas clean and present merchandise according to company merchandising standards.
- Contribute to a positive team environment in the store.
- Keep associates focused on achieving store and person goals. Recognize associate successes and help boost store morale.
- Process customer transactions and other register functions while adhering to company cash handling policies
